RDM Group

• The RDM Group, whose trade name and initials are “RDM Group”, is one of the leading companies in the field of applied engineering.

It was created in August, 2009 as the outcome of integrating and developing several areas of specialization with extensive experience and prestige in the industry, thanks to the growth it has experienced since 2002, when the parent company of the Group was founded.
The company set up its headquarters in Massalavés (Valencia-Spain), where it remodelled and expanded its facilities with the acquisition of a new production centre only a few metres from its main offices.

In February, 2007 the focus was on hiring qualified staff and creating a purchasing department inside of the already existing administrative framework. It invests, develops and implements its own management program that acts as a financial and analytical platform for integrating all the company's activities.

In mid 2008, it had achieved the infrastructure and means it needed for the purchasing department to operate independently from the administrative department. The structured organization was born, along side the first standardized processes that boosted efficiency and provided high quality services.
2008 a new department for engineering was created. It was now possible for the company to begin collaborating with public agencies.
After a year marked by aggressive investments in qualified personnel and material means to develop its activities, and in 2009 new professionals are still being added to the managerial staff. Departments such as Finance and Analysis, Human Resources and Operations have been implemented as part of the campaign. The new management team has made it possible to gain access to a number of public agencies at the local level and in the autonomous community. And, in 2009 production increased by 60%.

• With its new managerial body, the geographical area where the company operates has been expanded nationwide and the products and services it offers have likewise grown, capitalizing on the synergies between the companies in the Group.

• The growth the Group has seen in recent years is a testament to the organization's solidity and is a demonstration of it's ability to take on all kinds projects regardless of their complexity and size and of the trust placed in it by its clients.

The RDM Group's technical, maintenance and engineering activities cover all the areas of expertise pertaining to civil and industrial architecture and building.

The cornerstone of success for those activities lies in adaptability and the ability to stay on top of the extraordinary demands in the sector and effective business management based in appropriate choices about contractors for projects, efficiently managing project time lines and always striving to improve processes. The RDM Group, which is in an ongoing process of expansion, also engages in diversification activities related to its strategic businesses that provide added value to the Group, such as applied engineering, renewable energy, preservation and infrastructure usage, services, and more.

• After achieving the goals of its 2007-2009 Strategic Plan, and considering the short and medium term economic forecasts, the RDM Group has outlined a new strategy approach to adapt itself to the new economic situation. The primary goals of its approach include consolidating domestic growth, opening the international market, focusing on unique projects with greater added value and getting the most out of the synergies in the Group.

- Domestic diversification, through a process of consolidation and acquiring new and important clients and broadening the range of services offered by the Group nationwide
- International growth, through a controlled process of entering markets in other countries with the RDM Group SYSTEMS brand
- Getting the most out of corporate synergies, to find the leverage to adapt the organization of the Group to the uncertain economic situation
For 2010, the RDM Group's primary goal is to focus its energy on increasing turnover in its industrial activities, which account for 16% of its portfolio. We've been increasing our presence and participation in industrial fairs and conventions held in different European countries in an effort to achieve those goals.
